London Bus Hire BathLondon Bus Hire Bath - Our genuine ex London Routemaster Bus, 50 years old in February 2010 yet still as reliable as a one year old car. The bus came out of service in October 2005 and can be seen on its last day on http://www.londonbuspage.com/051021.htm

We purchased RM180 in the middle of 2006 and had all the necessary licensing by March 2007 when we commenced operations.

Originally expected to run for 2 years, its outstanding exceptional condition mechanically, bodily and its interior condition, plus the enthusiasm from every hirer without exception has encouraged us to extend the operational time until the end of 2011.

Bus Hire BathMaintenance is our biggest expense and is second to none and to a standard much higher than the legal requirements. The bus recently passed its annual PSV check needing a headlight to be adjusted!

We work in the Bath and Chippenham Areas for weddings and events, and the bus copes well with the steep hills, which is surprising as it was designed for the flats of London. We go up over Lansdown and some of the surrounding hills such as to Wells and Bradford on Avon, even if on occasions we need to limit the numbers of passengers per journey.

We are a small business so take great pride in what we do and have a very small contingent of drivers who are experts at handling the bus and to date have not had even the most minor of accidents
